This is where I get to know about you, your business and your goals; Why do you want a website? What do you expect from this website? Who is your target audience and how would you like them to perceive you? How will this website tie into other marketing efforts? Together we will discuss these questions and create a solid foundation from where we can begin to achieve your goals.
Design
This is where we start to flesh out the look and feel of your new site. Here is where we take what we learned in Step One and embark on the visual design we’ll be implementing. There are many tools we can use to collaborate, keeping you in the loop as much or as little as you like. Decisions here will range from page layout to fonts, colors, images, menus and any custom functionality we may require such as custom post types, taxonomies, plugins, etc…
Develop
Now things begin to become tangible. Things will start with a basic WordPress site on a private server, accessible only to us. We’ll add some content and from there we can begin to mold our theme, the personality of your new site. We’ll work through minor changes in layout and style based on your feedback throughout the process. Once we have the theme on solid footing we will begin to introduce any custom functionality as we discussed in Step Two, ensuring that everything meshes together seamlessly for a rock solid user experience.
Debug
Once we’re happy with the form and function we can move forward, ironing out any flaws or inconsistencies we may have encountered in the previous step. We’ll ensure your site looks and performs as desired at different sizes on different devices using up-to-date versions of all mainstream web browsers.
Deliver
The final step is to move your site from the private staging environment to its new home on your live server for all the world to see and enjoy. Due to the fact that each and every server is unique, I will provide 30 days of maintenance service to cover any troubleshooting needs that may arise.
